Keeping interest in the food diary

This is Day #12. I so stink at keeping up with the food journal and yet and I know this is a basic element to success when dieting. How will I ever reach my goals if my attention span is so short that I can’t even maintain a food journal for two weeks?

Breakfast
1 hard boiled egg
3 pieces of ham — the kind from the lunch meat packages
Snack #1
1 2% string cheese
1/4 cup of strawberries (these are left from last night’s Red Bean Panacotta
Lunch
South Beach “Cream” of Broccoli Soup
2 ounces of grilled tuna
2 Sweet Potato Pancakes
Snack #2
15 Raw Almonds
2 pieces of celery with 2 teaspoons of peanut butter
Dinner
Homestyle Turkey Meatloaffrom (The South Beach Diet Supercharged leftover — last piece (it’s really tough getting rid of an entire meatloaf as a single girl…but the cookbook did say it could be sliced and frozen. Next time I’ll try that.)
1 cup steamed broccoli
small salad with South Beach Balsamic dressing.
Dessert
1/2 cup sugar free jello — cherry
