Monday’s diet diary

I was reasonably faithful to my diet over the weekend, but I didn’t post because I was so busy. I went to a “dinner” to honor the 99th birthday of Ronald Reagan and skipped all the carbs including a cheesecake. But I felt really good going home knowing I’d been able to control my eating.

So back to recording (I promise to post every day this week on the food journal).

Breakfast
1 hard boiled egg
3 pieces of sliced ham
I was late leaving the house so NO COFFEE! How will I make it through the day?
Snack #1
1 cup strawberries (I love strawberries!)
Lunch
Roast pork loin on top of a salad
2 cups of lettuces
1 roma tomato
cucumber
dressing
Snack #2
1 Laughing Cow cheese package and 2 pieces of celery
Dinner
1 cup red pepper soup
steamed broccoli
6 ounces of baked cod
Dessert
1/2 cup sugar free jello — lime — mixed with 1/2 cup part skim ricotta
